Elon Musk is a World Renown Economist

He made a simple phrase;

All Government spending is Taxation

And if you boil it down, the government has to either recoup it’s losses through taxes (or fees/tariffs/borrowing and registrations as taxes) or print money (under Modern Monetary Theory) which creates inflation (thus devaluing your dollar and is a form of taxation). At the end of the day, in order for the government to pay back money, they have to collect some form of direct or indirect taxes.

Even if they were to issue bonds, unless those bonds have a negative yield rate, and are for social bragging points, then the government will eventually have to borrow more or tax more or inflate money printer more in order to pay back junior and senior securities. So bonds and T-Bills are a quasi solution to spending, but if you spend the money, then you still gotta pay it back. Which kind of defeats the point, so, back to the original statement;

All Government spending is taxation.

Little background on me, I’ve come to meet many PHD Economists from all over the world, mainly Washington DC, and I hate their brainwash hot takes on Economics, it’s too political and too left leaning and they trash classical economics while fundamentally underestimating the ‘scarcity value’ of the expanse we call the universe. Turns out, if you can’t definitively prove that the universe is finite, you can’t prove that resources are finite either, but you do well to work within your spatial domain and practices of frugality. Yet these guys (mainly and even dare proudly) to defend modern monetary theory.

In short, I got kicked out of those circles because my opinions led them to believe I was some Alt-Far Right Neo Nazi, even though I mentioned nothing of Jews. . .

Anyways,

Google is quick to argue against this claim;

Of Course Google is compromised with political agendas from the Left, and any critique of the Government Bureaucracy or criticisms of the Fed Reserve or Taxes will be dubbed as ‘wrong think’.

Well, Google Gemini sucks, but atleast the other chatbots agree;

Literally one question to clarify, led Claude to the same conclusion;

Perplexity mostly agrees but is hesitant to agree completely;

Simply put;

In Closing,

I Hate Economies, that makes me an Economist.

As such, all government spending has to be financed through either direct or indirect taxation.

It’s not like we humans are smart enough to have a go-fund me for government projects that would rewards bragging bonds for contributions.

Nope, we’re too dumb for any sort of pay it forward program that doesn’t end in a can kicking over spending monster like Social Security.
