Shachiku no Black Kigyo

Noun. 社 しゃ 畜 ちく • (shachiku) An employee who is completely subservient to their company, never complaining about overwork or any other issues; a wage slave (wagie).

A black company (ブラック企業, burakku kigyō), also referred to in English as a black corporation or black business, is a Japanese term for an exploitative, sweatshop-type employment system usually with a shitty HR department that exploits human labor through power harassment and social exclusion levers.

So Shachiku no Black Kigyo, translates to Black Corporation’s Wage Slaves.

Here me out, there’s people out their living a life of slavery but in suits and behind computers with a harassing boss that berates them and little to no down time for themselves, living life like a husk of a doll, stuck under the societal pressures to perform.

What does a Modern Slave look like?

Can you spot them?

Do they look happy at work?

Do they look happy after finishing a work project?

There are more slaves now than ever before.

Chew on that.
