Some ‘Tiktok Refugees’ went to Red Note, a Chinese Pinterest, sounds similar to the little red book, in protest of the US government targeting one app.

Yes, the US public would rather go directly to a Chinese Owned App with Chinese Servers than to give up their free speech and subvert to US controlled shitty social media. I mean, everyone is already harvesting data, what do the American People care? Did they ever get paid for their data or data breaches? No? Oh. Weird.

And users are also finding that Chinese Netizens are in favor of Luigi Mangioni, or the alleged United Health CEO assassin.

Also, Tiktok refugees are being radicalized, because they’re sharing cost of living numbers and quality of life. Turns out, China has socialized health care, and they also have less individual taxes pound for pound. Oh, they can also buy groceries fresh and organic for cheap consistently. They don’t have to pay more than $100 equivalent RMB or CNY for a full cart in China. . .

• They have corn for cheaper and the US grows the most corn and is a multibillion dollar industry. but corn is cheaper in China. . .
• again; They have way more people, less taxes, and better welfare

(It is to note, that the property tax thing is a limited use 70 year term to give to your children to inherent, and they pay an inheritance tax, and you can be forced bought out of the domicile from developers for around millions to billions of Chinese Yuan. Which is arguably not full property rights. But it is cheaper in the long run and it pays you more)

And as a Disclaimer, all of the above is hear-say and anecdotal based on all the things shared. It’s either all true, or some of it is true or partially true. I’m sure there’s nuances with some laws and applications.

It is to note that the younger Chinese have more home ownership than America, and that their tax structure in China is incentivizing homeownership, unlike the US 20-25% or so homeless population we have in 2025;

Many US citizens are learning Mandarin on the app, thus adding a layer to the cultural aspect of warfare and ideologies. This is a cultural war in some sense, and language is one of the things that are fought over, for narrative control and supremecy.

But on the real though, China isn’t without it’s flaws. Every government has pros and cons, and that’s something people will have to discover for themselves. We live in a society, and that comes with social contracts and rules to guideline people into lanes, for better or worse.

This allows Government contractors to collect and scrape data from TikTok, as well as allows state governments to contract to influencers to spread US influence to foreign audiences. He is often touted on the platform as a traitor.

Additionally, the presidential candidates of 2024 tried to use TikTok to win seats and advertised on the platform.

It’s clear that platforms that allowed people to band together and communicate information provided direct access to political seats and democracy that threatens the status quo of the bureaucracy.

Anyhoo, as evidenced above, the US citizens are openly joining Red Note whose servers are in China. So, national security risk is already happening.

To note, the colloquialism of the contemporary slang or phrase of being ‘TikTok famous’ is indicative of one’s ability to reach a status in life from their content, which is shared relatively to being a ‘twitch streamer’ or ‘you tube famous’. As it turns out, the monetization aspect from your fame paid more for TikTokers and then Youtubers, but that dynamic is being threatened.

If you guess why they targeted Tiktok, you’ll find out it’s because the data shows anti-zionism. Tiktokers are blaming Zionists, Israeli intelligence, and the US government for the ban.

Also some users blame Meta, who lobbied $7.2 million in early 2024, during the time when the TikTok ban legislation was being voted on. You know, like how META admitted to selling to China. But TikTok is an issue;

You see, After a bunch of talks about a ban and legislation went underway for TikTok around 2021ish, they started censoring search engines and the hashtag #FreePalestine. People on TikTok had to use a Watermelon emoji that somewhat represents the flag/Palestinian colors to get around these filters. This was slowly radicalizing people about the ideas of free speech on the platform. There were even people who created games and filters and sounds on TikTok, which earned revenue from simply being used, and they took the funds to support refugees and relief aid for Palestine.

Every act of censorship and Orwellian watermelon emoji radicalized youth slowly and slowly to this point.

Also there was a bunch of accounts and videos documenting the atrocities happening in gaza, from the bombings of schools and busses, to targeting the World Central Kitchen who had already identified themselves but were still shot at.

All of this promoted a pro-people and pro-Palestine sentiment, which apparently is the same as Anti-Zionism and Anti-Semitic, to the eyes of Zionist supporters.

It’s worth mentioning that in the information age “data is the new oil”. So having all these US tiktok users flock to China, is a national economic export of a lot of data. Meaning the US wanted to capitalize on that data, for money, but they ended up shooting themselves in the foot and sending all that data and information to a developing World Power, and they’re not far behind especially when you look at their grocery prices.

It’s similar to how all the EU countries are crying about political interference from X platform. That’s partly the reason why the US want’s to control more of TikTok. There’s a lot of perspectives and gains, but the government forgot about half of their citizens. Did you know, more than half of Americans eligible to vote don’t vote in the electoral system?
