Maybe you have a bunch of mail because you’re new in the neighborhood and some local grocery super chain or department store bought your address and name from the yellow pages, your mortgage company, your title holder, or -insert another corpo that ratted you out for money- and started sending you coupons and, worse, coupon books.
Maybe you donated to some charity or Blood to the vampires at Red Cross and they keep calling you or sending you mail as a reminder to get you to donate more of your literal blood or time to them like a deranged stalker Ex without a corporeal form. Waiting for AI girl friends and AI wives to be Digital Yandere stalker girlfriends that infect your house and turn off your wifi for watching online-porno because they see it as cheating.
If you want it to stop, then sign up for the government backed program to stop this shit (US only).
This is a registry for stopping mail;
You go to the Website DMAchoice

Register, verify, login and make sure that you aren’t getting mail.
It’ll cost like $6 that you can pay via paypal or credit card, but it’ll save you so much time if you hate mail.
Registry for stopping phone calls;
Go to Donotcall.gov

Register
Fill out the information to include all the phone numbers you want them to not call.
After registering, verify.
You have to click the individual links per the amount of phone numbers you entered to ensure that it works.
As a reminder
This is for lawbiding corporations and companies, so scammers might still get through the cracks.
Additionally, some companies just don’t read or care to, maybe it’s a small business, that happens some times.
So some mail and calls may slip through the cracks.
But overall, you’ll have a better, less bothersome, time.
Also,
In your email, to reduce some of the solicitation from NON-Scam companies, go ahead and find the ‘unsubscribe’ button. I wouldn’t click any shit link on a scam company or scam mail.
That way you can stop receiving so much solicitation from a company that will inevitably have it’s email database hacked and your email exposed. Meaning you’ll probably get more scam mail.
As a rule of thumb, you’d do well to have multiple emails, one for business, one for junk.
In Closing
I don’t know what is more worse for the energy and electric expenditure on the environment. Mail that might be laced with anthrax, or people using bots to mass shit post five billion accounts and scrape data. I don’t really care, but they both suck.
You might have to reverify this information and redo the process every now and again. Especially if you start receiving unsolicited phonecalls or mail again. So, just be on the look out for that.
This is arguably, an adblock for real life. You know, citizen and consumer censorship.
Atleast you can better curate your reality when shit you don’t care about keeps bugging or mailing you.
Just uh, don’t expect coupons if you do this.
