In the Wake of the 2024 Trump election, some Democrats from North Carolina want to make an official non government organization ‘shadow cabinet’ to puppet and pull policy decisions away from those in power or to subvert those in power.

It’s just a fancy way of saying lobbying with more power and influence.

Wild that someone wanted to say the quiet part outloud, but I guess the world would be less colorful if we didn’t have someone blatantly be racist every now and again, some Daylight racism.

They even made a cute little board presentation for the committee;

Anyhoot, Shadow cabinets and Councils already exist. But to blatantly call for it to exist is a kind of gall that borderlines being dumb or being oblivious. A Congressman of all people, asking for this to be on full display is silly.

I get politics is a clown court, but this is kinda of over the top and tone deaf.

A Public Shadow Cabinet already has a name, it’s called a political party. Duh.

Regardless, people meet and make decisions for what they think are in their best interests, whether ideologically or monetarily or otherwise.

To conspire, means to talk with others, that’s the basis of the word conspiracy.

And you really don’t need a formal conspiracy;

They went to the same clubs, in the same groups, universities, associations, etc.

Of course people that flock together like sheep are going to protect their wool, whether they are rich or poor. The question is, how much advantage does a group seek to make and at what levels of expense to other groups?

The goal for any moralistic world builder is to seek for a win-win with humanity, but that’s too far of a vision for some people.

If you have to do many ‘necessary evils’ before you do any good ‘for the greater good’, than all you’re doing is being evil. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Shadow puppet governments exist, just look at any of the ‘Spreading Democracy’ campaigns or the Cold War or any CIA declassified documents.

And lobbying is a thing, this isn’t anything new, just loud and audacious, and quite frankly, retarded.
