xQc is a famous streamer- it’s not clear if he’s paying just Canadian Taxes or also some parts to the US for Twitch related things.
But he had a glorious crashout on taxes;
Here’s a term you need to get comfortable with;

And here’s a chart of the Tax Freedom Day overtime, notice that it keeps eating up your months over time;

Let’s say you worked for 60 years at a flat tax rate of 20%, you’d be essentially giving the government 12 years of your life. And I’ll remind you that you’re being taxed more than 20% now through all sorts of mechanisms and fees.
When a Government or anyone takes 100% of your income, that’s what you can call definitively slavery. Now to be clear, any amount above 0% without representation or consent is theft. The real question is, what amount between 0 to 100% is slavery?
(I’d argue the moment your taxes are more than the cost of living)
Here’s a meme;

In Closing
If we could live in a society where we could go-fund me government projects, and vote with our money, or use Bonds to pay for shit instead of raising taxes, we’d live in a better world.
You know, the government could put out public bonds for new roads or some shit, and if people have faith and believe that the government would do the thing they’re trying to fund, and if the people wanted it, they’d buy those bonds, and get paid back based on their investment.
Or, you know, do a bond that doesn’t pay back at all. A bond that is consensual to buy and have bragging rights for paying for public infrastructure.
The government should just start an OF account and expose how people are getting fucked. I mean, everyone seems really interested in DOGE and what they’re doing on fraud, waste, and abuse.
There’s so many better ways to do taxes other than to guess a random number after a year and risk going to jail.
But hey, if you’re in the US and go to jail, you get taxed 100%, because you’re now officially a slave thanks to the 13th amendment.

Decisions, Decisions.
