The Joke Explained
Well, many Global Imperialists conquer and oppress nations, resulting in them immigrating and seeking asylum, and this causes all sorts of cultural issues as well as the degree or rate of assimilating immigrants to a new culture is controlled and throttled through the rate at which you allow people to enter a place.
Occupation and immigration are two sides of the same coin.
Legal Occupation and Legal Immigration are obviously separate from illegal Occupation and illegal immigration.
Point being, if a Critical mass of people enter, that critical point will cause a destabilization in culture, language, laws, customs, and have all sorts of tertiary effects with logistics, economics, and supply.
So, one Global Occupation and conquest of several nations, robbing them of their wealth and funneling it into building their home nation, has lead to the oppressed nations seeking asylum and immigrating to the locations where there are wealth. Like a moth to a flame, humans will unknowingly seek gold and wealth as indicators or markers of Opportunities. Thus the observation of what we’re seeing is merely the established nations shooting themselves in the foot, it’s like an unintentional Imperial Boomerang.

It’s also clear and evident that France and other Global Imperialists are still Oppressing Africa and other nations.

In Closing
I think it’s funny that France is in the top ten nations (Fourth Place as of writing, with about 2,5k tonnes) in terms of having gold reserves, yet they don’t have a single gold mine since 2004.
Yea, awfully weird to be that rich in the world, when most of the gold mined isn’t from the top ten nations. . .
It’s almost like the top nations cheated their way to the top through war (economic Barbarism) or exploitation.
