What’s been true for the last however long, is a party of hard non-party partiers that don’t vote.

Roughly 40 to 60 percent of the population of eligible voters don’t vote.
It was pretty alarming when Joe Biden got more votes in 2020 than Obama in 2008, but whatever. Let’s just brush that under the rug. Also, Obama getting only 69 mill votes while Kamala getting 74 mill votes, well, that’s also kind of alarming. Let’s brush that too under the rug.
If people were forced to vote, then we’d vote for stupid ideas or a specific party. If we were forced to vote for one of two puppet states, then the United States as a whole would turn from the Three Party system we have and become a one party system.
It’s a three party system because not being in one of the two camps and making up for more than 50% of eligible voting adults, means you are an unofficial official political party. The Anti-Political Political Party.
Voting red even when you’re dead, or blue no matter who, is the retarded geriatrics of the political classes. The “Don’t Care, Don’t Vote” is the premium crop of the prestigious class of non consenting dissenters to the political assemblage.
But if everyone was forced to vote, then the barrier between two shitty parties would dissolve and then we’d have a unified party of idiots in charge.
This is a simple checks and balances, one party is shit, one party is less shit, and depending on the difference in magnitudes of the shitty, the informed non-voters can step out into the light and vote for the less shitty party.
If we didn’t have this buffer, we’d easily have a unification party, and then we’d have Nazi America 2.0 or something. It’s honestly the easiest conclusion and I shouldn’t have to explain how simple of a conclusion that would be under a one party fascist system that controls all the media and voting.
In Closing,
Just a reminder, that if you have your rights or citizenship revoked, your votes might get thrown out. Felons and Convicts are treated as a slave class in America, Fact.
Completely unrelated, but medical testing of Convicts and Felons to reduce their prison sentence is unconstitutional under the 8th amendment of cruel and unusual punishments. -My opinion.
I do what I always do, not vote. I have reasons for it, but they go beyond most of your thinking, and I highly don’t consent to anything, let alone the taxation of things.
Voting is a civic reflection of duties that the civic entails. I’ll say that much, you figure the rest out yourself. ‘The Consent of the governed’ is true and applicable to those that vote and win or lose. That’s what a democracy is about and the Republic is based on the voting representation.
But those special interest assholes like me? Because I don’t vote, I technically never consented.
