We decided to Cuck ourselves with Sh!tt!er Airplane Seats

Hear me out, there was a time when First Class seating with leg room was considered regular airline seating.

But due to some factors, we’ve lost held of these fabulous airlines like Pan Am and propped up budget airlines as the main airbus (airplane for you Degens) for travels.

This used to be the standard for airline seating;

Remember what they took from you;

And let me zoom in for you, at no extra fare;

You’ll arrive rested and refreshed. . .

And from various sources, these seats weren’t mockups but actual things.

Allbeit the ticket price was a month’s salary, it was justified with full bar, complimentary food and drinks, booze, leg room, and much more. It’s not the Airline’s fault that wages haven’t increased with inflation.

Health issues

There are numerous complaints about flying on airplanes that travel pillows are a must have.

Literally, there’s a whole industry on travel pillows due to the demand for comfort not provided in regular air fare. I get you can use a travel pillow for trucking and long drives or trains, so it’s not like travel pillows are a bad thing. I’m just saying the large industry that profits massively on travel pillows is doing so based on primarily airfare.

And Travel Pillows are a tell tale sign of a symptom of discomfort in a systemic issue on simply airline seating.

The uncomfortable airline seating leads to numerous more complaints that people have issues.

>INSERT NECK AND BACK COMPLAINTS

And you know, complaints are one part bitching, and another part wishing for a solution. And by golly gee did we have a better solution pre 1980s. But no, we bandaid ourselves propping up a neat 500 million dollar travel pillow industry to still have back problems.

You wouldn’t worry too much about neck or back issues or being a fat as fuck Americunt if we had large leg room recliners as standard airline seats.

Especially if your flight is eight or more hours long.

Due to the injuries of current seating, it’s technically a safety issue.

Airplane Seats are basically a torture device.

Someone ought to legislate laws for minimum comfort for commercial civilian passengers.

But what about the profits?

Well, currently, from the perspective of airlines, there are people trying to make your life shittier as an airbus traveler. They’d sooner strap you in the Cargo Space if they could, hell, you might even get some Hell Diver ODST Apache seats in the future and they’ll be happy about it;

Vice this

If they could, they’d probably put you and your cargo in a fuselage artillery battery and ship your ass like an orbital drop. That’s what the seats remind me of, Borderline more comfortable to stand;

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if Airplanes in 2070 were Standing room only, Piggy back rides even, or if it Mimic’d the slave ships;

I’m not trying to give them the wrong idea, and I’m also being extra satirical and facetious. So, don’t mind me.

There’s already plenty of demand for airplanes and flights. Having the price of a ticket to go up an extra hundred or two dollars would be very affordable for many people.

If not, they’re probably already flying spirit or frontier, and they can resort themselves to the seating which is currently equivalent to major airlines.

Reasons why airplanes should be cheaper;

  • Technology improvements
  • extra delivery packages and cargo
  • government subsidized funds already in use and already subsidizing regardless

With the improvements of technology, our microchips have gotten smaller, and somehow that equated to our seats being smaller and with less padding.

It also doesn’t help that people are on average growing bigger due to ‘extra nutrition’ and health as well as getting fat as fuck due to having shitty foods and impulsive behaviors.

They literally took away padding, and more Americans are fat as fuck, so what the fuck is the logic?

So, all the more reason to have bigger seats in my opinion.

The Solution,

To money concerns,

More airplanes, more logistically routing, and everyone is happier.

Sure the overhead goes up, but with connector flights, people would make more trips and this would directly increase traffic through smaller airports thereby giving more incentives for an economic surplus in smaller shittier airports.

A thing about the airline industry

The Airline industry is ran much like a hotel industry.

The Major Airlines are in charge of booking flights and filling up passengers and routes, among other things.

Most of the aircraft slaps on the logo and delivers the passengers yet aren’t directly affiliated with the. It’s sorta like a franchise or hotel, borrowing the name and having them book the seats.

It’s like a booking agency. The Airlines book the planes. The Pilots and Captains control the aircraft and are responsible (similar to maritime admirality laws) and deliver the passengers to their location like a Taxi. It’s essentially a more complex UBER ride, but with airplanes and multiple passengers and organizations and federal regulations.

Often times, fleets of planes are owned by a private affiliate company that slaps the logo of the major Airline that it’s dealing with, or dealing under.

This is just a side note on how airline industry sorta works.

A thing about airplanes

They are modular inside, so seats can be taken in and out much like a carseat, and retrofitted with cabins or other types of seating arrangements.

I get it, not everyone get’s the nice private jets with a full stocked bar and shelf. But would a little leg room kill ya?

A look at other countries

Other countries’ seats

Emirates

China

Singapore

Arguably, because our seats are economy, business, and first, we don’t really have a middle class.

Middle class is supposed to be mid-grade or medium. Business class seats aren’t the majority.

Some planes only have economy and first class, of course it’s business class disguised in cat shit wrapped in dog shit sold off as First Class.

I also want to throw out there, that if a First Class seat can exist, then every seat worst than the best is a testament to being shitty by design.

Point is, the standard economy class is an uncomfortable experience by design.

By Design.

Let that sink in.

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

And if you really look at the quality of other nations, then we can do better.

I mean, why can’t we just have beds in our airplanes? I’d rather have that then the torture breath obscuring blocking neck pain machines we call airplane chairs. We can atleast hope for the future to be better;

And The Government

After 9-11 and other issues like the Clown Virus. Airlines have profited from massive government subsidies that propped up their industry.

You want six feet social distancing? Get better airplane seats.

Thanks to the patriot act, airlines no longer pay for security instead they pay for TSA.

And with the agenda of REAL IDs and other bullshit, the government is enforcing more restrictions and control of movement and access and information. Before you know it, we’ll need Worker’s permits and Traveler’s permits between States, let alone between remote jobs.

All I’m saying is, if you want a real dystopian world, you have to have people who live in said world, consider not wanting to give it up. But these airline seats aren’t it coach.

These same companies that took billions in government money to maintain themselves are the same companies that laid off their employees in the next week. I’m talking about you, Company that kills their Whistle blowers, BOEING.

In Closing,

Let me ask you this. Do Franchise Executives like Burger King eat their burgers? (My sources told me that at a company meeting they had trays and platter of food from Burger King and opted to not eat that)

Do Major Airline Executives fly on their own planes? Yes. Do they fly first class? Duh, it’s free as a perk. The executives themselves get the perk to fly first class, So why would they fly economy?

They don’t (probably) know, nor do they (even) care. There’s incentive elitism to run a shitty company for more profits beholden to the share holders. And yes, I blame the public market and Wall Street for some of the above, it’s part of the mechanisms that turn companies into braindead profit zombies.

I’m merely stating that in an alternate universe, there is a viable economic way for profitability while still offering leg room to economy flight passengers. That before the 1980s, this shit was standard. This Shit was Standard.

You can blame corporations, NATO and the USSR, because their conflict involved the libertach airplane leading to the destruction of Pan Am. And you can blame nine-eleven as well, as well as government subsidies to make airlines shit and people trying to profit off of maximizing passengers as luggage being transported instead of humans trying to live a good life. Since USSR isn’t around, just blame NATO.

And somehow, we’ve collectively cucked ourselves to have shittier Airplane seats.

It’s a Scam
