This is about the Penal Institution, to show you the incentives of why the law itself is injust and criminal itself. The Long story short is, Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 outlawed slavery, -except for punishment as a crime-, pushing a concerted effort to lock up more people (predominantly Black) into the prison system to exploit cheap labor. These are private institutions that are state funded meaning tax payer funded, and their labor creates all things from fast furniture or fast fashion to shitty Big Brand goods found in many Corporate America. This has been going on all the way to today and has culminated in about 1% of the population accounting for cheap labor and producing a large chunk of goods in the open market today, with work conditions that are sometimes worse than sweatshops, and with some cases implied threats that lead to real death and execution outside of the justice system. Capital punishment without trial. The only major difference today is, the Justice system is being more inclusive and also including White Folk too, to be apart of the White Trash added to the Prison work force. So, yay for diversity. Only a matter of time before Asians join in on the fun.
Typically I don’t see the AP (Alternative Press) do hard hitting journalism, but every now and them I’m surprised.
This is one of them.
In it, this Article addresses the cruelties of Angola, (Which I addressed last September) talking about the similarities in working conditions as that of slaves 150 years ago;

I mean, you gotta remember, 150 years ago is like 3 generations of people that are 60 years old, that’s like your grand father’s time if you’re a young buck, or your Daddy’s time if you’re slightly older than the average mid life crisis.
The article continue on to state that corporations profit from this labor;

And so does the state;

Mind you, this is a conservative estimation of one prison system over the span of 6 years. That’s one prison system. There’s more than a thousand state institutions.
In other prisons, like in California, Prisoners are sentenced to Fire Fighting and other life or death labor.
And one of the death throws or the nail to the coffin for a certain 2020 presidential candidate, was that she intentionally prolonged prisoner’s sentences to work longer through a series of levers and signoffs. You know, for an original sentence based on criminal things like smoking weed, which is decriminalized in California.
So yea, it’s pretty fucked.
Here’s a picture side by side for comparison;

Here’s some numbers for some funnies;
These are quick numbers with no fact-checked basis behind them. Consider them estimates for math purposes.
Colleges;

Prisons;

The College to Prison ratio is about 2:1 for major institutions, or 2:3 if you count juvie and jails.

Land of the Free Alright.
That’s also a lot of your Tax Paying Dollars at work, to engorge your pockets, and enlarge the Government too resulting in more exploitive profiteering of slave labor. So, consider that.
America as a society has a lot of Karmic debt it has to collectively improve upon, that’s for sure.
As a side note,
The slavery system extends to Many Forms of Debt.
We have a lot of debt slaves too, people with Mortgages or College debt.
Did you know, that most College Debt Loans from the Federal government includes a Selective Service Agreement?
Student Loan numbers;

Mortgage debt;

They give you money, it’s not free, you gotta pay it back, and then some. Sometimes with your life. (Since the whole blowback from Vietnam for the whole college thing).
And if you don’t pay back, having a large sum of debt can also lead to a prison sentence.
It’s a business, always was, and always has been.

In Closing,
The legal system and the Justice System isn’t Just.
So think twice before you become a copper or a state prosecutor.
