This is a tale, as strong as a Harambe but more recent than May 2016 that shaped the political landscape.
A Social media star, Peanut the Squirrel, and Fred the Raccoon were living a happy life in New York.
Peanut the Squirrel was taken in by his Owner, Mark Longo, after his mother was hit by a car. The Squirrel received rehab and was given multiple attempts to release into the backyard but the squirrel didn’t separate.
With 3 Million followers across social media, the Owner tried getting the Squirrel registered as an educational animal. With paper work in progress, something happened.
Some Karen bitch in Texas got upset, a Nature Conservationist Photographer gave an ‘anonymous tip’ about illegally housing this pet squirrel.
Then the Government (4 NY state agencies, not one, FOUR) raided this home (Wednesday October 30th), asked for immigration papers and vast amounts of identification from the Owner and the Owner’s Wife.
Took the Pets under the suspicion of rabies.
Then Euthanized both animals.
The Government claims that the reason they euthanized them was because one of the animals scratched/bit them on the hands.
So they euthanized two animals for the ALLEGED action of one pet based on a signed warrant from a judge to raid them under the suspicion of having a disease based on an out of state anonymous tip.
Oh, to add insult to injury, they cut Peanut’s head off.
My Complaints
The Government shouldn’t raid people’s homes to abduct and murder pets. Full stop.
If you think something has a transmittable disease through scratching and biting, then why the fuck wouldn’t you be in protective gear? Have you not heard of Gloves?
Squirrels are on a list of known animals to not have rabies nor concerned about having rabies.
In Fact, There are NO reported cases from squirrels;
Rabies is a virus that turns animals Rabid. You could literally look at any of the social media posts and see that the animal is not rabid and living a care free life, furthering the due diligence in the fact that these animals didn’t have problems.
If the animals had rabies, wouldn’t you reasonably expect the owners to be the FIRST to get hit and hospitalized? Over the span of seven years?
If you are abducting and subjecting animals to fear, would you not expect them to scratch and bite? Cornered animals? Again, Gloves? Armor? Anything protective and not focus solely on guns?
Why the fuck would the Government do an ARMED raid for a squirrel and a raccoon. What were you expecting? Squirrels with machine guns? We’re not talking about terrorists or drug lords, we’re talking about a guy who has a lovely squirrel and seven years of social media history depicting how awesome the squirrel is. ANY level of due diligence would assess that using armed men for a squirrel is beyond reasonable.
Let alone mobilizing four state agencies in a raid.
We’re not talking about Tiger King, we’re not talking about an army of chimpanzees. We’re not talking about a dog compound with war dogs bred for fighting like a Michael Vick case, nor are we talking about underground Rooster fighting.
The use of armed force isn’t justified in this case, especially when the government could simply make a knock and wellness check instead. You know, ‘knock’ on the door, ask what’s up, see that papers are being submitted and filed, and move on with their lives and not waste tax payer money to raid this home. Because there’s higher priorities than someone living their best life not harming anyone.
Instead they decided to arm themselves and under tyranny, murder two pets.
Additionally, because the pets were in captivity, the government decided they couldn’t be released into the wild because they would suffer trying to undomesticated themselves. So the options were to return them to the owner, send them to a wild life sanctuary, release them (because they still could), or did what they did.
They could have quarantined the animals for a few days and find out they didn’t have rabies and return them.
So they chose capital punishment, and cut the head off a Squirrel.

MAGA crowds, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump took the libertarian approach and condemned the ridiculousness and government overreach of these actions. Because gang violence, the economy, and other violence is apparently a lower priority for government funds in NY. Not to mention the sharp increase in violent assaults in the last three years in NYC.
Even making a mentionable appearance on Joe Rogan;
Thus spreading the sentiment that the government has gone too far.
Because NY is controlled by a Democrat governance, the Democrats were to blame. Ultimately it’s the government’s excess use of force.
And there were even Far Left Democrat Boot lickers that were saying that ‘they deserved this’ it was ‘illegal’.
Internet denizens, MAGA crowd, and anyone with a heart or a brain could tell this shit was retarded. Resulting in memes and flags sparking libertarianism in most people with a conscience.
Some are even chanting ‘Nuts out for Peanut’
And the Legacy Fake News media is spreading the sentiment that the Squirrel has a political ideology and is a cry from the Far Right;
And apparently people are sending bomb threats to government offices because of peanut the squirrel. I Dunno if it’s orchestrated fake news, but it’s believable since the internet got unhinged over it.
This all happened the week before the election.
Arguably resulting in A Donnie T victory.

They killed an Orphan and a Pet and a beloved one.
Judges should be held accountable for signing warrants that are stupid. I mean, if you’re a judge, you should exercise this thing called ‘judgement’. It’s in the title of your job.
Everyone with a mind knows the ATF and SWAT and Cops go too far when they shoot a dog for wellness checks, especially if it’s like a poodle or a Pomeranian. No one likes Government Execution of their pets, especially non violent pets.
NY is another failed state due to it’s governance, and arguably the Squirrel was one of the factors that moved people to a Presidential election.
I don’t condone violence nor executions of innocents.
